New deployment: Southlake Regional Health Centre
Gray Oncology Solutions (Gray) is pleased to announce a partnership with Southlake Regional Health Centre (Southlake) aimed at leveraging new technology to optimize cancer care operations.
The Stronach Regional Cancer Centre (SRCC) at Southlake represents the regionally designated program for the Central Regional Cancer Program. SRCC compassionately delivers programs and services for patients living in York Region, North York and South Simcoe County, including cancer screening, diagnostic testing, radiation therapy, systemic therapy, and supportive care.
Southlake serves some of the fastest-growing cancer patient populations in Canada. With an anticipated increase in patients requiring care, and an unwavering commitment to clinical excellence, they acknowledge the imperative to optimize resource utilization, streamline processes, and bolster operational excellence. This involves enhancing coordination among the diverse resources involved in cancer care trajectories, both within and across departments.
Driven by a commitment to innovative solutions, Gray was selected by Southlake to support its continuous pursuit of operational excellence. The partnership aims to seamlessly deploy and integrate GrayOS with SRCC’s existing systems to automate and optimize the scheduling process across radiation and systemic therapy programs.
“The vast scope of this innovative collaboration makes us extremely excited for what is to come”,
stated Lorrie Reynolds, Director, Central Regional Cancer Programs.
"We are experiencing a rising volume of cancer patients at our clinics and this is a fantastic opportunity to further improve the healthcare system. “Innovative solutions have always been our bedrock to overcoming pressing challenges at Southlake”,
stated Derek McNally, Executive Vice President, Clinical Services, Chief Operating Officer and Regional Vice President for the Central Regional Cancer Program.
